I've been considering a B7610 to replace my BX. I looked around yesterday, and no one in this area has one that they want to sell me. (One dealer had a couple, but they were commited to another store location.) I guess the dealers can't order any more of the current version from Kubota. Does anyone have any news on what, and when we might expect a "new" version perhaps???

That's weird because I have quotes from 3 dealers on a B7610 in the last 3 weeks and none of them mentioned a supply issue. I assume because of your nickname that you are in NH, so we are relatively close as I am in southwestern Maine.

Not sure where in NH you are, but I bought my B7610 from MB Tractor in Tilton about a month ago. I was just up there last week, and saw several on the lot. I didn't notice any tags on them suggesting they were sold.

I will be back up there next Monday and plan on stopping in for some supplies. I'll check for you and PM you.

NHbotanut,
MB in Tilton is where I saw the B7610's but they are headed for the Plastow store...... or at least that is what I was told. I've been talking to Dave there, but he is on vacation this week. Other places in the area have a scattering of B7510's, but no B7610's.
I'm suffering a little tractor withdrawal, and hope I don't have to wait until "next year". :)

Its no secret any more, but the 7610 will be replaced next year. Kubota stopped production on them a few months ago. There are machines available, but only for retail sales.

Thanks for the input Neil. I am certainly a retail customer! Life is a little short, particularly with my risk factors to be waiting for "next year". I am reluctant to travel too far to purchase, so I guess I'll decide if there are any limitations with the B7510 that I can't live with, try to justify moving up to the B2630 (which I like, but don't need) or look at different colored tractors.

MESSIKS
What does "There are machines available, but only for retail sales." mean what is a retail sale?
Are the 7510 going away too?

my guess it just means sell existing supply. I am looking forward to see the new lineup. I have only read about the 7610 replaced not the 7510. Sometimes they just make upgrades to existing models. maybe they will give us position control on the 7610. Lots of folks would be jumping for joy. I sure think it's neat Messick's gets in here and contributes to the forum!

To answer several things here, both the 7510 and 7610 are up for change. The 3030 is already the smallest factory full featured cab I'm aware of and I'd doubt that they will add one to the smaller chassis.

The 7510 and 7610 have both been good models as they go out and they don't come back other then for service.

MB Tractor thinks they are BMW dealers when a model is in short supply.

I'd look at TYM in that size range.

Actually the guy who owns MB has a pair of Mercedes 600's.

Is there a TYM dealer in the area?
