gusg,I recently tried to buy a First Choice Core Aerator from a dealer within our State.I made 4 L.D. phone calls to this place in the span of a week.He finally called me back, but still could'nt give me a price or a date.

I contacted Carver Equip. via the net,had a price quote within a few hours,I made 1 phone call, and within a few minutes I was a new owner.

Al,at Carvers, said they didn't have the Plugger in stock, but I would still receive it in a few days.He e-mailed a shipping conformation on 8/20,I received it on 8/23.

From the day I called Carvers to the date of delivery was exactly 1 week...we live in the middle of no where,in the Mid West,I feel like this was nothing short of Superior Service on both Carvers part and First Choice.

My first experience with Carver Equipment,I'm sure it will not be my last.

I had the same superior service from Carver, only with a tractor. I highly recommend their comapny. No problems whatsoever and lots of help for this newbie tractor owner.

Thanks to all of you for your replies. I am going to call Jim tomorrow and get it straightened out. Sounds like Jim may have already straightened it out. I will let everyone know how it goes.

Thanks Jim and First Choice for making a great product and for taking such a personal approach to customer service. It is fantastic that a manufacturer will give you numbers where they can always be reached.

I am sure that I will love the box blade. Now all I have to do is figure out how to use it and get it off of my pickup with a camper shell.

As you probably know, I have a First Choice box blade and am very pleased with mine. I'm sure you will be with yours as well.

As to transporting it in a pickup with a camper shell, I have a couple ideas. One is to remove the shell so you can get to it from overhead with a bucket to offload it.

Absent that option you might either try to slide it out to somewhere approximately the same level and then take it down with your bucket or, lastly, slide it down some kind of ramps to ground level.

Good luck with it. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
