no gas from fuel tank ??

If it runs for a while then dies of fuel starvation it could be a blocked vent in tank that will cause a vacuum in tank and stop fuel flow... Check tank vent, usually in gas cap...

Loosen (do not run with gas cap off) the gas cap. A twist to lock in place cap should be able to remain in safely with a 1/4 turn loosened which should prevent the cap from sealing thus allow it to vent past the seal. If it runs fine this way, replace the cap with a venting cap.
If the issue persist, check your fuel lines for their integrity.

I would bet the fuel pump;my 25HP Kohler has one on the engine itself;fairly inexpensive.Also check the fuel filter.

Check for collapsed fuel lines! Ethanol based fuel just destroys them from the inside out.
