There was school,another bus came and picked us up...we were frozen,so we had school anyway,about a 2 hours late.
It is funny about that bus,it was a brand new GMC diesel he set on fire.We had been riding an old International that was a 1950's model(I am telling my age)althought this new GMC was about a 1966 model.I guess the bus driver used to put the fires/coals under the old International and got away with it,but he cooked the new GMC,it was about 6 weeks before it was repaired.I remember getting back on the new bus after it had been repaired and seeing the scorched hood.LOL /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
