My Friend has a Homiers Farm Pro 2430 4wd tractor and was out brush hogging, when he tried to lift the mower it would not lift he drove it up to the garage and let the front bucket down when he tried to lift bucket nothing happened, He checked the fluid it is full. I told him I would give him a hand Tuesday. Any Ideas, the power steering does work.

Does it have two separate pumps for the power steering and the three point hitch or just one for everything? If it's two pumps, it sounds like one is shot.

Hi, I loosened the pressure line at the pump and no fluid came out with engine running. Does anyone know a good place to get a replacement Pump?

I would suggest that you isolate the problem before just putting on a new pump. If something caused the existing pump to stop, it will also cause a new pump to stop.

Check pump shaft or coupler, if suction filter change that, check and clean sump screen, also make sure the suction hose doesn.t have a leak..

If it has remote hydraulics check that it's not engaged in some systems this will over ride the 3 point.

The loader will not work also is there something in the remote that will cause this, thanks for the advice I will check the sump screen and suction filter if there is one, seems strange there would not be some pressure when I loosened the pressure line at the pump.

It might be easy to unbolt the pump and check the shaft and coupler before dropping all the oil to check the screen. The loader control valve would not stop the pump from not having any output. If the loader valve is the 1st valve after the pump it well work before any valve after it.
