Hey boys, they're calling for snow this weekend in WNY. It's on the radio, weather stations on TV, and TWC. Don't put the blowers away just yet.

Same here on the Illiniois/Indiana border south of Chicago. No accumulation, but snow expected (currently raining) as temps drop. Of course, it was 81 degrees on Tuesday and the convertible felt really good in the sunshine . . . so I guess we are due for snow this weekend!

Yeah, this weather's been crazy. I started my weekend planning Tuesday evening. Another cub scout dad is looking for help hanging drywall. I took him my tools and said if the weather was crummy I could help but at that point it looked like I'd be working outside in the garden and/or planting more trees. Was hoping to get my sweet corn in the ground this weekend.

If the ground isn't too wet and the snow isn't too deep then it still may happen.

This is unbelievable! I can't believe. I already cut the grass. They are saying we can get 3-5 inches tomorrow. Winds will be very strong; 20-30 mph with gusts up to 35 mph. It's gonne be a freakin blizzard! Just a little bit ago I heard someone say we can get 8-12 inches! /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

I remember in 1989 getting ready to go Turkey hunting on May 8th and we had 8" of snow. But for the last 10 days it's been dry and warm. Whats going on?

The weather people have already "closed" the books on winter here publishing the totals and such. Mother nature sure plays nasty sometimes.
