I am sure he put a 25 amp in because that is all that he had laying around. I know the 25 won't last long in there. My 29 has a 30 in it and I blow it if I hit the glow plugs with all the lights on including the extra lights I have on my rollbar. I can't run the plugs with all the lights. Lights that came with the tractor are ok but the extra ones will do it in.

You are right, I had 25s and 40 amp fuses laying around so I used to 25. Seems to be ok for now, I will get some 30s and take it from there. I am not sure why it blew but will look further if it happens again

My TC29D would blow the 30 amp all the time, replaced it with a 40 amp fuse, since the new TC29 comes witha 40 amp. No problems blowing in the last year.

The new TC29 & TC33 come with a 40 amp main fuse. You can get them from NAPA. They are the only ones I found that sell the 40 ATC fuse.
