The one I saw had the round tag, that said YM1500, on the side.

I have a YM2000B with the Zen-Noh decals. From the looks of the coloring and the cracks in the paper, I always assumed they were the original decals and paint. They are yellowed and old looking. The instrument panel and steering wheel all say Yanmar. I've owned it for three years now and find to be the most reliable tractor I own. When I need it, it's there for me without fail. If anybody can shed more light on the Zen-Noh decals, I'm always interested in learning. E.M.

Zen-Noh is a Japanese co-op that buys in bulk direct from Yanmar, Kabota and others. When they are manufactured, the labels are placed on the tractors. I have sold a number of "Zen-Noh" Yanmars. The only difference is the hood decal. The serial # is "YM1401d-xxxxxx" just like the rest. Everything else including the color is the same. They even have the Yanmar emblems on the grill and sides.
