Did have cancer,it was between my big toe and next toe! Got it cut out,bet that snuff caused it huh?

It's possible. Depends on how often do you put your foot in your mouth;)

Don't know if I was missed, but I'm back.

I quit on 11/25/08. That was the day I went to the hospital & found out I had a heart attack. At 54!

After 40 years, no more smokes, not that I ever smoked much more than a pack a day, & most of that 40 years I smoked less than half a pack a day, but... It was time.

As some have said, the HABIT is much harder to break than the addiction was for me. I STILL want a smoke after eating, but I'm finding I can drive without thinking about a smoke now, & I consider THAT a major victory! :D

Good luck to all who have quit! I sincerely hope you DON'T need or have a reason to quit like mine, but want to do it because it's for the best.

dbdartman, It took me a long time to figure out that my truck would start without pushing in the cigarette lighter.

LOL! Oh, I've already warned the doctors. The first time any one of them says ANYTHING about the weight I'm gaining, my first stop after leaving their office is to get a pack of smokes! They've all promised not to, & say they'd rather see me fat than smoking.

It's bad enough that most everything I ever enjoyed eating is now "bad for me," but now these sadists want me to exercise! And here I thought I'd be able to enjoy my retirement by being a bum... :(

I have been folowing this thread. I to have been dipping cope for the last 15 years. Quit for about 2 years about a year ago and wife gave in to the temptation of another man and I gave in to the temptation of a good dip. The divorce is over and I am getting ready to quit again.
