I've never seen a tractor carrying a piano before. You see something new on TBN every day, but I'm trying to imagine how you got that tractor down the steps into their basement. Do you have an attachment for that?

Actually the neighbor's were moving out.. and the piano was in their basement.. and they gave it to my fiance'. They had tried but couldn't give it away.. nobody wanted to attempt to pull it out of the basement. Moving company said no.. you have to hire special piano movers.($$)
At first I told my fiance' no.. no room for it.. do you know how much a piano weights.. we'll need at least 4 strong guys to even attempt bringing it up the stairs. No way!
So after I had been to the neighbor's house twice to retrieve a fridge/freezer and a freezer they gave me.. I softened some and decided to get the piano for her w/out telling her. I checked the weight of the piano.. I couldn't even lift one side by myself.
The two flights of basement stairs was for an outdoor exit.. indoor stairs were out of the question. Ended up bringing 4 pieces of plywood & some 2x6's.. built a ramp.. tied the piano up w/ rope.. hooked a chain to the rope.. and hooked the chain to my FEL. Yep.. I slowly pulled that puppy up the ramp w/ the tractor until we reached level ground. The hay forks on the 3 pt worked nicely w/ a piece of plywood.. I was able to back up to the front door of my house.. and get it into the living room by myself. It is actually a very nice old piano.. of course it's sitting in the living room.. not used(I knew that would be the fate).. but I did my part and tried to make her happy!

Excellent post Bob K. Since I have been back I was wishing the exact thing. Where's all the pics with the posts. Yeah & also alot of orange in the photos section. We will just have to change that. Everybody must have one or two photos to add to that forum section. Lets do it !! Attached my Dynamo Hummmmmm !!!!

Holy-Ring-Moly, I thought you were only a vintage type guy. Well that belief has sure been shattered with that pic of a super-charged lawn mower. You must have some awfully tough grass in your parts. For some reason reminds me of a sci-fi book I read 25 years ago where alien plant life was taking over the EARTH. "Day of the Triffids" !! Don't get me wrong.. I do love the antiques.. I just also like to have a modern one too. I used to have a NH 1920 (33hp )... but traded it on this. It cut my mowing time and work in mor ethan half.
