I think it was about 50 years ago, maybe longer, when I saw a recipe for baking Spam with pineapple. It wasn't really bad, but not good enough to continue using that recipe. There was a time, way back when, that I thought Spam was pretty good, sliced thin, fried, and used in a sandwich. Two or three years ago, I decided to try some Spam again, and was sorry I bought it, but I did eat it instead of throwing it in the garbage. Of course, I had thought there was only one flavor, but I think there are several flavors on the grocery store shelves now.
