I was using my 2410 HSDB yesterday doing light loader work and my neighbor who was helping me mentioned that he could hear a noise like a rock rolling around inside the rear tire/rim on the left side (as you sit on the tractor). I hadn't appreciated it but when I cut RPM to 1100 and drove close my building I could hear it. Only present when tractor was moving. Wheel nuts were tight. Original tires, unfilled and never off the rims since I got the tractor new. Only about 60hrs on the clock and 50hr service hadn't turned up any problems. Seems to be working fine for mowing, FEL use etc.

Is this a normal noise I just hadn't appreciated before or is a sign of something more ominous? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Lyle,
On my B7500 I have to regularly tighten the hub bolts. There is a single bolt that tightens a shim on the axle on the hub assembly. Have you tightened them yet. Mine started making noise right around 60 hours too. I find it is easiest to do this with the wheels removed. Hope this helps.

GregJ is correct, check the torque on the hub bolts.

I HAVE A B2400 (earlier version of the 2410) never had any noise like that. if it is that noticable i would check the lug nuts(but think u would feel a loose wheel).
