Non OEM ways to secure a BX on a trailer

I put a 3/8" Grab hook onto the hitch,hook the chain across the trailer,drive up on the trailer,hook the chain and drive ahead to tighten,lock the brake and tie the front down via 2 chains and binders. Don't know if it's legal but it's secure. BTW I lower the hoe to the deck. Will post pics. next time I load it. Paul
