Normal Kubota Rear Float-Detent Valve Operation?

/ Normal Kubota Rear Float-Detent Valve Operation? #21
Could a check valve be used to prevent that? Far from a hydraulics expert, but sounds like issues I've faced elsewhere that a check valve helped resolve.

Yes. A double pilot control/check valve will lock the cylinder in place until hydraulic pressure is applied to release the valve and move the cylinder.

Several guys here use them on their top link for positive control. What you lose is float.

Ah, good point, did not think about float.

I will have to re-conduct my tests to see if my issues with the float-detent valves are now magically resolved too.

Apparently those plugs were not "torqued correctly from Kubota" and eventually worked loose enough to leak a lot of fluid.
