Been working out my norse winch the last couple of weeks and I am thoroughly impressed. My lot is all side hill 45 deg slope and up. We were able to haul 1 log that scaled over 600 BF with little trouble. Definately a good addition to the tractor.

Are "norse winches" pretty? Blonde? or what?

But seriously, I wishes I had a winch. If I had a bigger spread I would be hard in the market for one. Besides being able to do low impact logging I can think of about 67 other things that unit would be handy for. With a good snatch block & a good, heavy block and fall - crimminy - you could move just about anything. I'm surprised they don't come up in discussion more on TBN.

Tessiers-
I may drive orange, but I am green with envy.
