I have to ask.... are they giving you a TBN discount or something? Seems like that price is well under the prices on their website..........

The prices they have on the website are higher than the prices they will sell for if you call them.

I just checked out Red Horse's WildKat grapple, it appears adequate for my uses, quite well built.

In an "ultimate engineering" sense, sure it could be improved on, in a practical world it will almost certainly outlast my use for it and price for price is good value - so, time to order one.

Thanks for the visit Red Horse (-:

Not sure why the price difference. When I called the first time they quoted me the Internet price but when I called back and talked with Connie she gave me the better price...wasn't even gonna ask for it.

Excellent, you'll have to post some pictures!

And let folks know how it works on a smaller FEL like yours. I think my shipping receipt listed the weight around 425lbs, which is < 25% of my loader capacity, but nearly 50% of yours.

I'm curious how that will work out for you. Hopefully it does everything you need it to!

That was my conclusion too. I had a few quibbles here and there, but for value and functionality, the Wildkat just can't be beat.

It'll outlast my need for it, and still hold its value. And that makes it a great deal.

I asked for Anita,
Having met Red Horse this morning and knowing what he paid, I was able to talk about "My friend in Bolton's grapple" (next town to mine).

We talked a little bit about Winter pricing, demand, etc.
I let her know that I know what Red Horse paid for his, without quoting actual numbers at her.

I think I "done good" - good enuf anyway.

The weight listed on website is I think 420 lbs. but I read on here where someone, can't remember who it was, actually weighed theirs and actual weight was around 385 lbs. Either way, doubt I try to pick up anything 600 lbs. plus. Just have to saw logs a bit shorter!!!:mur:
