Northern Tool Tractors

Anybody know who makes the tractors Northern Tool sells? They claim a three cyl diesel and 4wd, with a 2 speed PTO

Well, I could tell they weren't Yanmars or Kubotas, just wondering who was building them for Northern. Priced pretty well for the equipment listed. $10k gets you 25hp 3 cyl diesel, front end loader with 5ft bucket and a box blade. It includes power steering, live PTO, 2spd axle, and PTO. Looks like wheel weights are on the back too. I can't tell if that's an actual ROPS or just a canopy. China built would make sense for the price.

I'll be glad to post up some more pics, but I have to resize them first because of the small limits on this forum.

I don't know where the tractor is made, but where do they find guys that short to make the small tractors look big?
I saw one deere ad where the guy was hardly as tall as the tires. These overpaid marketing people must think we're blind as well as stupid.

Yes that is a jinma.I looked at one before I purchased my yanmar. Glad I bought the yanmar.

Jinma.. chinese tractor.. and yes.. that is a rops.

Jinma makes tractors for many rebrands... like Homier Farm-pro.. etc.

Hey BlueChip,

That's there High Performance Racing Model, that they take to the Tractor Races.

They left the grill off to get more air the Ram Air Intake.

A shorter Driver makes for less Wind Resistance.

Rural King sure has some good prices posted in their ad.

They are located all thru the midwest.
I believe their 20 hp is cheaper than a Farm Pro and it includes turf tires, a 3 cylinder motor and power steering. Somebody can correct me if i'm wrong about the Farm Pro.

2 wheel drive! compared to 4 wheel drive! Still 4k for turfs and all not a bad deal. I'd like to have one with a finish mower........

I believe the Farm Pros are 2 wheel drive with a 2 cylinder motor, no turf tires, and no power steering for the same price.
Where they get you at Rural King is $3,000.00 for a loader although it is a Koyker. Man, i'm thinking serously about this if i could find a cheaper loader somewhere.

I have a JM200 3cyl power steering tractor availble with turf tires, I can put the Chinese ZL20 on it or Koyker 140. EMail or PM for package price. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif Arkansas is closer to everywhere than someplace else is!

Don't worry Chip, i wasn't gonna buy one without talking to you first. I have to wait until my taxes are done to see what damage Uncle Sam inflicks on me this year. I have a bad feeling about it right now. Anyway, i do know enough to know that when buying Chinese tractors that it's all about who preps them that makes all the difference in having problems with them or not. Is there a cheaper loader than Koyker that ties the rear end with it like Koyker does.( Did i say that right?)

I don't know of any that are much cheaper. The new 140 Koyker is pretty reasonable and is a good fit for the 200 series Jinma.
