Anyone know if they charge you for the S&H when you order from the store and have it shipped to the store for pickup? I always see advertised in their catalogs, free S&H for items over a given amount.
Just curious?

Of course it was 10 years ago that I needed this arbor press. At that time the price was $99.99 and with a shipping weight of 138 pounds, the shipping charge was just under $70. But by picking it up at the store, I did not have to pay any shipping charges.

Thank you for calling them. I probably should have done that myself, just haven't really gotten serious about going there to pick it up. It's one of those items that I'd like to have, but don't have to have.

I keep hoping for a free shipping sale on it, but the best I've seen is when they drop the price $20. It's just too heavy for them to give away free shipping anyway.

The free shipping to the store only applies to items thay have in their distribution center.. some of the items are shipped direct from the manufacturer and for those you pay. I was looking at a water storage tank from them, but since it isn't stocked in their DC I would have to pay shipping- even if it went to the store.
