Hindsight being 20/20, it may have been easier, and even faster, if both tracks were dropped and both swing shaft caps dropped, and just rolled the whole track frame assembly forward, with the wishbone still connected. This came as an epiphany while looking at your pic . No, item 27 is not threaded.

I dropped both tracks to get as much slack as possible. How do the swing shafts detach from the under carriage frame. I pulled the 4 bolts in the cap and only saw grease inside. Manual doesn’t show a snap ring or key so I’m stumped.

I have never pulled that shaft, so can't say. But my parts manual suggests they are threaded in.

This is the Yuchai factory parts manual that came with my machine. The "RT" stands for rubber tracks.

Also I have to ask if the Partsmanual is that thorough how much info is in the service or operators manual. The complete operators manual is 74 pages and the parts manual is also 74 pages supplied Nortrac.

There is no service/repair manual. I was thinking of writing one years ago but life got in the way.
The Yuchai operator's manual is 36 pages and the parts manual is 112 pages.
The operator's manual covers basic maintenance procedures and adjustments.
