Not as HUGE Hydraulic Leak.

I did a fair amount of dirt moving yesterday and popped a tire on a piece of glass. I parked little scooper (b7100) in the shop and took the tire to be fixed. By the time I went to put the fixed tire back on the next day, there was a substantial stain on the floor (about 2 cups worth). It looks like it is coming from the large banjo bolted hydraulic line. I'm assuming there is a stainer or filter of some kind and some seals. Is there any advice before I begin fixing this problem? Is there anything else prone to leaking in that vacinity?

By the way, what kind of fluid does the front axle, front hubs and steering box take? Can I use the same stuff as the rear-end/tranny/hydraulic?

7100 front axle and hubs lubricant.
Mine uses gear oil, 75 to 90 weight. It is very different than the hydrostatic fluid. It is very easy to change.The differential and each hub are separate.
No experience on you other question but have a feeling your conclusions are correct.

Not sure what B7100 model you have.
On the B7100HST here a little info that might help.
Front differential case 4WD..Gear oil SAE80.
Front wheel gear case right and left 4WD..Gear oil SAE80.
Steering gear box..Gear oil SAE80.
Transmission..Kubota UDT.

atk_man, I'm strictly guessing, but it does sound as if your leak is at the strainer and, if so, and if it's a later model at least, the seals are two rubber o-rings. I don't remember the part numbers though.
