There are several that I could not watch beyond the first few minutes. Men in Black, Gravity, Fiddler on the Roof, Life of Pi for a start. Am I alone?

Men in Black was hilarious.

Fiddler on the Roof is a musical and I have a lot of trouble watching any musicals on TV. Live on stage, yes. On TV, no.

Just an hour or so ago, on the way home from watching the sunset at Lake Michigan, we were talking about movies, and my future son in law mentioned he doesn't like Nicholas Cage in any movies and I agreed and now I read this, told him, and we laughed hard! :laughing:

I was 16 when I rode my bike to see Star Wars in 1977. I was the 4th one in on opening day. For it's time, the special effects were incredible. I really enjoyed that movie. Today, it's hard for people that have never seen it to think it was something. Kinda like when I was a kid and tried to watch Flash Gordon. It was terrible. You could see the strings holding the spaceships up. But for kids who saw it originally it was amazing, because they'd never seen anything like it before.

The idea that someone has not seen the movie "Princess Bride" - it is inconceivble!

We took our girls when they were like 10 and 14. I thought it was a great movie, the special effects were terrific, and it was a good-guy/bad-guy movie where you knew which were which. It was an exciting break from busting my *** trying to make a living, and old re-runs of I love Lucy. Well, we did have Saturday morning cartoons though...

Any musical and another who does not like Nicholas Cage, and who cast Tom Cruise in Jack Reacher, Jack Reacher was supposedly about 6'6", Tom Cruise is only about 3'9".

Yet another who doesn't like musicals. I also don't know who Nickolas Cage is.
