There's always something better than what you have. If not, just wait a year.
Every aspect of every tractor can be improved. I'm extremely happy with my Kioti LB1914 and think it is one of the best values on the market if you're looking for something in the SCUT to Small CUT range for ground engagement or forestry. But if you're looking for a mower, you'll want more hp and less weight.
Personally, I don't see any advantages of a SCUT over a small CUT except for price and weight unless you need to get under really low stuff. The big difference is tire size and ground clearance. In snow, mud, or the forest, big tires and lots of ground clearance will get you a lot further.
Bottom line:
For ground engagement / forestry go as big as you can based on the limitations of your wallet considering storage space and access requirements of your property.
For mowing go high hp light weight.
As a previous poster stated. You have to know what you want to do!
