Not the wisest thing to do

Back in 96 ,I bought a ym1300-D with a loader from gammut trading.
I was very proud of (my little jewel).
I was out mowing the back 20 for the first time,
I was so proud of how the brush hog went through the blackberries.
And the smell of diesel in the air was like este lauder.
I was watching the mower with my head turned (to long).
Next thing I know my little jewel was going down the bank!
Into the water was the next stop (thats when I bailed out)
The 1300 proceded to mow thru the stream (2' deep)
up the other side.
and into the neighbors field it went, with me in tow.
All I could do was look around to see if there were any
neighbors watching (or laughing)
(none)

So i hopped back on , turned the jewel around,
and back through the stream we went (slowly)

Only thing damaged was my pride,
and wet boots !

Thankfully you didn't slip while hopping back on, with the tractor moving forward and the mower blades going. Might have been mince meat, at best.
Reminds me of a similar experience, when I jumped on a runaway tractor. Flipped me over when I tangled with the rear wheel, and knocked me out. Turned out okay, and I was (I think) a bit smarter after that. Just thought saving my tractor was of utmost importance at the time.
