In that case, would it not have loaded or stalled the engine? It seems his problem was no matter where the pedal was, the engine did not load, stall, nor spin tires. That was a problem I had which turned out to be in the Hydro. It would loose pressure when the pedal was pressed.

I say have your dealer look at it.

I agree. Although I do not fully understand the inner workings of a hydro, it seems to me that as the engine had more load applied to it, it would have reacted accordingly. I took the slack out of the chain slowley and then I slowley "floored" the pedal. The only thing I noticed was an increased whinning from the hydro which I would assume is normal. It may just be that it is not designed to pull that kind of load and if thats the case, I can accept it. However, if it is not reaching it's design limits, then it bugs me. I'm not quite sure when I will get it done, but I think it's gonna go in for a look see.
