I've been researching toothbars for my B2320 w/LA304 loader, and the other day I was thinking about the process of removing/reinstalling the loader for mowing, etc. It occurred to me that the toothbar MIGHT have an affect on that process by changing heights or angles. No one has ever mentioned it in any of the toothbar threads I have read, and on further reflection it didn't seem like it would be a problem. Just wondering if anyone has experienced any kind of interference or problem due to this.

This will probably qualify for the dumbest question of the month award.:confused2:

I Don't think it will cause any issues taking the loader off. Even if it did you only have to remove 2 bolts to take the bar off

You worry too much. Just purchase your Piranha toothbar from BXpanded and have fun.

Mine was delivered today.

Haven't decided on the type of bar yet. There is a very minimal difference in price between a Piranha and a standard bar from Iowa Farm. The standard bar probably extends farther from the bucket edge, making it more useful for lifting/carrying (kind of like mini forks). The Piranha may be better at brush clearing, but that's something I don't have to deal with. Both will make digging easier and faster, and that's what I'm really after.

I know I was probably over thinking the removal/reinstall thing, but after it occurred to me, I became curious. It won't make any difference as to whether I add a bar.

I asked the same question about two years ago and was told that a toothbar would not affect removing the FEL. They were correct, removal is the same and didn't cause any issues. I have the WR Long flat toothbar that Iowa farms sells.

Thanks Thavil, that's the answer I was looking for! Thinking about that same bar.
