Walking out of the back field at sunset broke a good sweat,while the Miller Moths were bouncing in flight /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif..and today going to be tad nicer. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif..weather should be cold & raw w/snow flakes just a dancing,but I'll take this type of weather anyday /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif..just hope there not a payback further down the road tho. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I'm still being pestered by those darn Ladybug Beetles. Its too hot to deer hunt, they are just bedding down. I need a good hard freeze and some snow. I like winter, but where the heck is it at?

Since thursday the weathermen, (back space three spaces) weather people have been telling us of this big storm that was to hit Rochester, Minnesota. I was so happy I was even talking to my tractor about the big snow coming and "boomer" was the one to do the work!! /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
Yeah right, we got a bit of ice, no snow and as usual we are laughing at the weather people again. He just seems to me that they are more wrong than they are ever right.
So "Boomer" just sits in the garage now and I get to sit in the house.

know what u mean! up here in wny(western new york) it is the same. warm and sunny. attached is a pic i took yesterday just messing with my new camera, notice the color of the grass! strange for this time of year,

have never seen the lady bug problem so bad as i have the last 2 seasons. they even get into the house, and when they are flying they look like a b52. they are a PIA. have u also notice that even tho it has beena warmer than usual october and november the price of natural gas is still rising? must be because they aint selling enough gas so they have to raie the price, of course when it gets cold, they will have to raise the price cause they are using to much. think we can;t win /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

We're having typical Arkansas weather, that is anything but typical, This morning it was 60's and windy, now it's 35ish and raining. (Sigh...)

Nov 22 brought an amazing event to our neck of the woods....complete with it's own weather story. The "Heritage Classic" was played outdoors here on Saturday.
For those who didn't catch it in the news, the Edmonton Oilers of old (Gretzky, Kurri, Lowe, Coffey, Huddy, Tikkanen and all the rest) played the Montreal Canadians of old (Robinson, LaFleur, Richer etc) in a good old fashioned outside hockey game. They were then followed by the current Oilers and Canadiens real NHL teams playing in a real league game. All on the outdoor sheet of ice. Take a look at The Heritage Classic
The weather...-28 Celsius with wind chill. 58,000 fans sat for hours to see the whole thing.
Unbelievable to watch!! No lawn mowing going on around here! /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif
