JD 2305
Hey folks, have narrowed my search down to 2 different subcompacts: The New Kubota BX2350 and the JD 2305. Have climbed all over both tractors and my wife and I find both just as comfortable as the other. The only differences that I can see ( as I am going to assume both are as well made and will last as long as the other) is that the Kubota has the forward and reverse pedals separated by quite a bit (they split that treadle pedal into two) while the JD has them side by side. The JD has a much higher ROPS than the Kubota. Both dealers have been nice to deal with. Is it really just down to the color Orange or Green? Help

Surely you like one more than the other, eh? I know that I would be partial to one of them and the difference in price probably wouldn't be enough matter to me. But if you are really on the fence and you like both of the dealers.. go with the better price.

I'd choose $$$$green. Which one has the best price and financing?

As it's a wash , that's one fine question to ask yourself /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Have you compared the cost of service and ownership for the two models and dealers?

What will they charge to pick up your unit for the 50-hour service? What is the cost of the 50-hour and later services? Does one model have more electronic do-dads that will be expensive to replace down the line?

Do you really find the seats equally comfortable? (I did not care for Kubota BX or B seats.)

[I'd choose $$$$green. Which one has the best price and financing?]

I don't know what "green" is offering, but I recieved a card in the mail today indicating that Kubota is again offering 0% financing for 12 months on their tractors, .99% financing for 24 months, and 1.99% for 36 months.

I looked at the specs of both tractors, the JD appears to be a little physically larger, but the Kubota weighs almost 200 pounds more (1322 vs. 1125). I'm curious of where all the extra weight is coming from on the Kubota? Anybody know???

green is offering 0 for 36. So while orange is cheeper, green has a better finance deal. Orange is ~25 miles away green is less than 10. Wife likes both.
