Did you ever get your tires?

I canceled them last week. They were still on backorder and I have been using the AGs on my lawn with no permanent marks so I figured to save the money and buy another implement later on:D. However, I am still waiting on my Brushcutter that was supposed to be on the truck and delivered Saturday, it wasn't on the truck. Waiting for a callback on why.:mad:

I doubt it's the dealers fault the tires are on backorder from the manufacturer. I think that the mfg. of the tire for Massey (Titan?) may be the entity to blame.

I will not change dealers because of this issue, they have been very honest with me. As a matter of fact, today I just went to pick up my new XB King Kutter 4' rotary cutter. The first one was just a standard 4' and would not fit my hitch, so he ordered me a XB, which was $400 more, and didn't charge me any extra. He also offered me a used one to use since he was having such trouble getting it. Gave me some hitch pins and shear pins, that I was going to buy, free! Told me how good it was to do business with me and hopes to do more in the future. Good to know there IS a customer oriented business still out there willing to please the customer. I would recommend this dealer to anyone looking for Massey, or New Holland in my area. I was a little irritated but I understand that somethings are just out of the dealers hands, and he was able to step up to the plate and offer solutions, that means a lot IMO. He also told me that Massey's warranty service is great. Hopefully I won't have to find out!!:laughing:

Did he ever get back to you or give an explaination on why they didn't call? That's the part which would have irritated me the most. I realize that some things are out of the dealers control, but it's nice to have them keep you informed on what's going on even if that answer is "We don't know".

He wasn't given the message, I received a call from him the next morning after he got off the phone with King Kutter they could not give him an explanation, he apologized and said he would deliver a used one for me to use until my new one arrived.

That makes sense. Good dealers are worth keeping. And human error is always excusable when someone is willing to admit mistakes and work to make things right. Glad to hear that things are starting to come together.
