So when will the 3616 actually be available?

I am waiting on my dealer to receive a 3316 HST w/ FEL that I asked him to order; which he doesn't yet know when he will actually receive.

Mahindra's site indicates the 3316 is direct injected; turbo charged; and intercooled on the page they compare it to Kubota, JD, & NH.

Yet elsewhere (web or printed) it is listed as indirect injected; and no mention of an intercooler.

The printed brochure list the engine as a S3L3; I know the S3L2 (2516/2816) is indirect injected. I actually found the service manual for the S3L2 on the web and could see the pre combustion cups in the head.

I sent an E-MAIL to Mahindra but got a similiar response as another poster on another thread that such and such no longer worked for Mahindra but the response provided contacts of two other people for quality or service; but I got yet another reply from a person stating they were out for the National Dealer Meeting in Fort Worth untill the 8th. So perhaps the discrepancy of the IDI vs. DI; as well the questioin about an intercooler, will be answered. Neither are a show stopper. The dealer tried calling his Mahindra contact when I first visited, but he was out. Later found out there was a death in his family.

I would like to know just when the 3616 will be available; and any other details if available.

They will be out until the 8th. I sent an email to Brenda's Mahindra address and out an "out-of-office" response for the 4-8th of Feb.

We were told that the rops 3616 should be available in June-July and the Cab should be in late Sept.
I did not see a turbo on this new model.

I do not want to wait that long; so 3316 HST is still right for me.

Hopefully I will get a response from Mahindra when they get back in the office regarding IDI vs. DI and is there an intercooler?
