Re: Now that I have the Kubota BX1500 and don't need the 2 Bolens 850 Tractors I'm trying
Yeah, I'll second the camera thing, LBrown. You and that fleet of BXs have become legendary. WE NEED PICTURES!!!
I am sympathetic to your situation, however. At our age, constantly hooking up implements and unhooking them gets to be a drag. With so little time left, who wants to waste it doing that? Even with Pat's EZ Change, it's not what makes tractoring fun.
So the above suggestions to buy more implements should be taken with a grain of salt. I'd say, "Don't buy more implements until you have more BXs to hitch them to!". In other words, the ideal is a 1-to-1 ratio between BXs and implements. That way, if you've got an implement, it'll always be hitched to a tractor and ready to go. After all, what good is an implement when not hitched to a tractor? It just gathers rust and dust and gets in the way.
Think of all the cussing and frustration this will save. Think of all the wasted time that will instead be converted to useful tractoring. Think of how amazed your friends will be. Think of the trouble you'll avoid by being too broke to do anything else
Somebody's got to set the precedent; why shouldn't it be you?
