I can see how the first pic happened... Corner lot, tract home new division and the road wasn't in while the house was built. Then some low bid driveway crew were following the blue prints that didn't get updated after a change order. So the they figure it's a nice FU to the GC who had probably given them a hard time over some BS on other houses.

So they said screw it and built to the prints. And probably had a nice laugh while they did it.

The drives that are a 45 degree slope I've got no answer other then wtf?

Saw same pic on facebook. I have seen builders models like that, larger parking on the side to handle visitors, when they sell it later they tear that out and build the front drive.

I've seen model houses that didn't have the driveway poured and a parking area off to the side, but it was never concrete. The parking lots where always asphalt and it was pretty obvious that it was temporary. The concrete on the side of this house doesn't look big enough for a parking lot, but it does look like the perfect width for a driveway.

I used I.E.'s zoom feature at 400% and can see the PhotoShop blending of the windows on the wall where a really garage door ought to be.

Well the picture wasn't taken by you, so I think it is Photoshopped.
Nope, there were two very similar here in NWA I looked at a few years ago that were as sharp an angle as these. You could not get a car up the drive.

Sorry, my bad, I meant the first picture.

Corrected my post.

Also did an image search, and it is all over the internet: Google Images

Not an uncommon site in a new subdivision. In the background there is a lot of bare dirt pad sites where the vehicle is parked. A model home is used as the sales office. When the subdivision sells out they will put in the driveway. Notice the electric meter is on the wall next to the windows so I don't think it is a photoshopped picture. You wouldn't want that on the front of the house. They usually use the garage to display samples of the floor, cabinets, etc., hence the two windows in the garage to let in some light.

I have to admit I did not notice the driveway at first. What stuck out at me was the angle of the front of the house with the street. I tend to agree wit others that this might be a model home.
