It seems that Bobcat is getting serious about the market for products that are half CUT and half Gator.

Looks like Bobcat is taking a page out of Unimog's book, only on a smaller scale.

What caugt my eye is the 4 wheel steering.

Looking at it I thought it would be too light to counterbalance some attachments, buts it's no light weight, "Weight (no attachments): 4400 lb."

The lift capacity is not too bad, "Rated Operating Capacity (ROC): 1500 lb."

I'll be interested to find out the price. I can see my wife wanting one of these for the garden /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Theres more information about this in "other brands" under Bobcat 6500. I reported on it many months ago. Bobcat routinely sent me information about its development. I could see some uses for it. Doesn't quite fill my needs, but it is interesting. Rat...

About the only thing I could say is maybe some farmers would like the thing. Checking fence lines and moving some snow around the farm and maybe even pushing some grain around. Got the back end to throw tools in or junk. I just don't see it being used any place else. Maybe even some inspector on new roads being built.

I just don't think I would ever spend the monies on it.

Any one in the Facilities Engineers, Facilities Management, Plant Engineers, Public Works ... people who are responsible for the plant or facility maintenance will use this type equipment but it's going to take some doing to get it in the Annual Budget at it's price (if the $30k is mentioned is the price)...
