'As some are aware my wife and I both have bad backs. Just two days ago I was confined to bed which is very frustrating. I have had 2 laminectomies and suffer sciatica as does my lovely wife. There are good days though. We just need to learn to take it easier at our age. I'm a slow learner.
A friend of mine suggested a mobility scooter and he was very happy with his so we ordered a couple. They are 3 speed and reverse and can be used on road. Registration is free. Range is 50 klm and top speed is 32 kph. So far very happy as are our little dogs.
They can handle paddocks quite OK so we can get around the property easily. Fully sprung suspension and large wheels gives a nice ride.

I got mine HERE. I got two for less than the price of an equivalent one in my local city. Why wouldn't you?
We have a Kymco XUV oosik but it is a lot bigger and I can't drive it up on the porch like I can with these. They are great for checking the mailbox and popping down to the neighbours.
They can be registered for on road use and we do not pay any registration on them. Go into Transport Dept and they send you out a set of No Plates free. They have superb lighting on them.
The Goliath is the one we got. I think delivery was around $300 each to Queensland so yours would be about the same. Delivered right to our property. Even the batteries were fully charged when they arrived. The steel crates they come in just need a top on them to make a great bench too. Thanks, I'll be checking them out....WOW!! They are actually affordable!
What model are they? I don't see a picture like on that site looking like yours, Goliath comes closest.
