Buying Advice NX 5510 with 24x24 trans

Looking for a relatively simple and reliable tractor with at least 45 pto HP for field mowing and snow blowing -- no loader work or back and forth stuff.

I like the looks of the NX 5510 Cab with the 24x24 transmission. Does anyone have the NX with this transmission? If yes, what are your thoughts? What about simple maintenance?

I have one and really like it, it just turned 90 hrs today. I do all types of work with it from discing , tilling, cultivating, mowing and loader work. I really like it, as for maintenance it's no different than any other tractor, grease all the fittings every so many hours , change oils and filters.

The more I read about it, the more I like it. I'll try and find a dealer that has an NX in stock just to see one, then I may order one. Thanks for the help.

Somebody else here a few months back got one with the creeper gear for much the same use as you, and ended up really liking it.

Getting something with a very slow reverse speed is a must. This sounds perfect for me.

The NX usually comes with a 12*12 shuttle. An option is to add a low creeper gear to each gear, resulting in 24*24.

The 24 x 24 is standard on the NX, not a optional creeper.
