Anyone else ever kill their engine even with the Anti-stall function on? [snip]
I've experimented a bit with this on my NX4510HST to see what the limits might be with ground engagement. I was able to kill the engine pulling a 7' Woods BSM84 box blade full of wet crusher run up a 15 to 20 percent grade when I did not shift out of mid-range. No problems with the same pull in low-range, but in mid-range the engine lugged way down without stalling for several seconds, and when I didn't relent, it finally died. The anti-stall feature seems to works very well for my use. I've not been able to kill the engine doing loader work, even with a Tisco tooth bar to give me more bite. But I can't say I've put it to the same test that Joe has.
