The NX has both land speed and PTO cruise control. I use the land speed control when I drive from the lake home five miles into town or over to the new parcel.

Eric, are you're driving into town to refuel? At 18 mph, that's not the ride I'd take for a quick lunch at the diner. :D

Mostly over to the new parcel. By the time I hook up my trailer, load and chain the tractor, I could be there. I decided that I'll drive the tractor over to the new parcel for when I start burning too as the battery has gone soft, I assume from vibration resulting from the stock battery clamp system failing and needs help starting if left laying around for a week or two.

That's interesting about the battery clamp. Will it no longer stay secure when you try to tighten it? If not, I wonder if other new Kioti owners have had that issue. Long shot, but maybe there has been a change in the vendor Kioti is using. This past winter I noticed my battery would sometimes need a boost if I didn't use the tractor for a week or so. I added a small plug-in maintenance charger and no longer had the problem. Figured maybe a relay was sticking from time to time, but when I finally got around to trouble shooting, I discovered the battery clamp on the positive terminal was just loose enough to cause the problem in cold weather after some downtime without a little boost. :duh: Should have known to check that months ago! So far so good, but cold weather hasn't put in an appearance here yet this season.

It never held for more than a few hours. I replaced it with a bungie cord and a block of wood.

Charger wise, the new parcel doesn't have power yet because it is a $32,000 expense not to mention phone and cable. I put an interrupt on my battery last year when I noticed the battery going flat too soon but didn't test for a draw on the battery.
