Oh, and by the way. It is not the only lottery. Most states that have lotteries also have a four number game, five number game and six number game.

The six number games are the ones that pay out the big bucks because more people play them and the odds are like a kazillion to one (slight exaggeration) so the payouts are bigger, in the millions and sometimes in the tens of millions or even more.

Five number games usually pay out a couple of hundred grand, four number games a few grand, etc.

The 3 and 4 number games make more sense to me. The payout is not as high, but having a legitimate chance of winning at least a few hundred or a few thousand is more sensible than practically no chance of winning 10 million!

Seriously, you are right, Danny. My wife and I only play the big bux here in TX when the amount is like $20-30 million or more. My wife also plays the smaller lotteries from time to time... might win enough for a down payment on a new house! Actually, the best way to win is keep the money in your pocket!
