Tractor
Kubota - MX5400 DTC
I have an MX5400. I have recently found 2 of these rubber O-Rings on my rock driveway. Anybody have an idea where, on the tractor, these came from? They are Kubota Orange, so I can only assume they came off the tractor. I also have a Land Pride disc harrow, bush hog, and box blade. Sorry for the HUGE images.

Thanks for your help.

Heck, they are still intact on my 6000 hour Kubota from 2004. Certainly long lasting.

Mine fell off at about the 18 year mark. I remember my FIL seeing my new tractor and telling me I had a blown O ring on my FEL. Nope, just a simple way to keep the paint from dripping on the chrome.

I suspect it was to keep paint off the seals or prevent painting the seals to the chrome. At any rate the o-rinkgs are functioning as disposable masking tape of some sort rather than sealing anything.
