obsolete blower parts

Hi all,

any one know where i can buy a chain tensioner pulley for my mckee 720 7' snowblower?
or perhaps other models that have similar parts?

If you post a picture, someone might recall seeing something similar. It's been a while but I think mine is a simple pulley that is flat instead of V.

I have a seven foot Mc Kee. Think they called it a Blizzard or something like that.

Most of these parts are very generic, thankfully! Any good welding/repair shop out in the middle of farm country should be able to help you.

or just stack several big roller bearings together and mount on the original pulley spindle bracket ...

look at the center of the existing pulley ... usually a roller bearing in there ( # on the rubber seals ) ... press out and press in a new one ...

I had a McKee and learned that John Deere marketed the McKee blower just painted it green. They also made smaller blowers for Kubota in Canada
I got many parts for my McKee 720 from a local John Deere dealer.
Here is a link to a chain idler sprocket which leads me to believe that Ackland Grainiger carry a variety of them.
