Obtaining Heat Inside a 3320 Cab

Is there any way to install a bleeder? With the rooftop heating and A/C units on buses they all have a bleeder at the heater coils.. much easier than pulling the hose..

my 3320 has no heat in the cab, and the engine temp does not seem to get very hot. I replaced the t-stat with a j/deere part. I bled the system out by removing the hose from the lower rad hose and still no heat, could I have gotten a bad t-stat? I also replaced the o-ring under the stat. please help me . the local dealership says the heater is self bleeding, so I do not what to do.

The heat control knob inside the cab is connected via cable to the heater core in the roof. It may have slipped. You have to remove the cab roof to check and repair as necessary. Don't try to do it yourself; two people on two stepladders. Otherwise you'll likely damage the roof seal, and end up with even bigger temperature control problems.

When you say "no heat" , do you mean "not much heat"? You may need to partially cover the radiator with cardboard in cold climates. If that doesn't help, then I agree with others about taking the roof off to get a look at things. If you did have to bleed air, you would need to do it at the highest point anyway.
