Odd Behavior - 460 Loader Not Completely Releasing

The book is no regen. When using our front loaders we wan't the regen function on(top notch) so our loaded buckets will drop faster. If the regen function is on for other attachments than the front loader, I read it could blow seals. My 4300 manual shows it. It will be under the Using Dual Selective Control Valve Lock Lever title. You can look at this page for the 4610s it will be the same as the 4600s.

Umm... my loader dumps extremely slow and the "fast dump" feature doesn't work. One fellow at the Dealer says the first thing they'd check is the hydraulic connection... sometimes they "slip" a little and don't allow the rush of fluid necessary? (Haven't checked yet, but it makes sense.)

If you have an older 4000 series JD you will not have an SCV lockout plate so if your bucket is unloaded and you want it to dump a a normal rate don't push the SCV lever fully to the right or the dump position. The regen function does not work for unloaded buckets. This may not be your case but hope it helps anyway. And if anyone out there has any suggestions on how I can get the bottom of the latch plate to hit that bar on the bottom of the weight bracket any suggestions are welcome. Thanks.
