Owner says the tach works at lower speeds. He said the tach recently started to to read lower rpm's when he ran it at higher speeds.

Looks like new, tires, paint, bucket, seat. Just very dirty from use in the garden dirt running his attachmnets.

Every now and then you will run into a case where lack of use causes problems like this and just running it will straighten them out. It sounds like you have found a diamond in the rough and if the price works and the tractor fits you I wouldn't be afraid of it.I find mine to be a really comfortable unit, for me, and that is what determines a good deal.It has to work for you.

Any idea as to the value of this 2008 B7800 with under 200 hours and in very nice condition?
It will need all new filters and oil changes.

Just about any used machine will need a complete service for the peace of mind factor so I wouldn't make that a real big deal though it may help a little in negotiating final price. Tractor pricing varies somewhat regionally and the fact that these more desirable units are so seldom on the market makes it hard to gauge. My 2005 model was $17,500 for the tractor,LA402 loader and 54" Gearmore box scraper with top and tilt.If I decided to sell, which I can't see happening,I wouldn't take less than $12,500. My tractor is in great shape, always stored inside and maintained. I'm not sure I would take that $12,500 unless there were extenuating circumstances like health issues etc. ,probably why there aren't many on the market.

I don't think I would take anything less then $10,000.00 for mine. I have a l4240 and bx2660, but for the small work I also jump on the B7800. That little tractor for it's size can do a big job.
