Off-road bumpers for Chevy Suburban

Yep, and when I mentioned that all types of vehicles sport a Bull Bar I truly mean it. Outside of the 'Big Smoke", the chances of hitting a roo or (worse still) a wombat will do such damage that these bumpers (as you call them) are needed. Cars, utes, trucks, busses, semis... you name it.

If you are looking for a lighter option, I would check out the aluminum bumpers built by Ali Arc.

It appears that TruckDefender.com makes a nice unit for the Suburban also.

Thanks HHR for the websites. I like the idea of aluminum. Much lighter and no worries for rust. I don't care for the shiny finish. I defiantly want a black finish. The Suburban is basically a LTZ without all the bling. Has all the goodies minus all the chrome ( mirrors, grill, side molding, and door handles). The chrome like finish is a deal breaker. It's the wife's daily driver and she likes the black out look also. If the nose gets some sag from the steel bumper, I will do like Tim suggested and level it out w strut assembly spacers. The wife likes the ride height ( she hates getting in and out of my lifted Jeep) so a lift is out of the question. It rides and handles way too good to start throwing aftermarket lift parts on it.
