Why not? Every farm ive ever seen including home heating uses 275-500-1000 gallon metal tanks.

yep that is deisel in galvanized drums/fuel cans. So not use galvanized, regular 55gallon stell is fine. A little tranny oil residue or oil residue wont hut when diluted in 55 gallons.

Whats the difference from 500ppm off road and home heating oil? Cetane? Can we use home heating oil in our equipment?

1*what does everyone use as a drum for storage?
I am worried about contamination.
2*I know you should use a poly drum, but what about carry over from what was in it?

1* Here's mine.
2*I just washed them out with soap and water and rinsed them out good.

One reason I heard for not using metal tanks (55 gal) was because of condensation in humid weather. I buy it from the local Shell in 5 gal cans. It's more commonly available here. Seems everyone with more than an acre has a CUT or SCUT.

Asking for a friend; anybody know of Off Road near Dillsburg/Camp Hill/Carlisle area in PA.
