I ask myself the same question all the time. For religious people, it is one of the ultimate tests of faith. For non religious people, the answer usually turns out to be that nature can be very cruel. Either way, it still doesn't stop us from passing along good, positive thoughts towards someone in need.

During a 5 1/2 hour surgery the doctors removed a pea sized tumor. The surgery was less invasive then previous operations so Kyle is already back home and recovering very well. No word on the biopsy yet. I haven't had a chance to talk to my team lead yet, but I'm sure he would want me to pass on his deepest thanks.
