I don't care for her one bit...

That said I thought she did a good job.

Just goes to show we are a very open minded group and not afraid to give credit where credit is due.

Never realized she is New York born and raised.

It's so fitting IMO...and his cowardice in not diving on a loose ball that he fumbled is only going to further tarnish his epitome of a "role model" image...//
It's not clear he even knew where the ball was so that's unfair in my opinion.

That defense just held the full-up Patriots to 16 points.

I saw what pine saw. A QB who wasn't about to commit himself to the fray of corralling the ball, even though he was facing it, less than 6 feet away and had the best chance of pinning it down. This said by a proclaimed non sports fan. :)

I'm not sure the rest of the country and football fans outside the NE consider Brady and the Patriots anything more then cheaters, Brady's name doesn't even come up in a discussion of great QB's at all, over most the country. No one likes a cheat, true as a kid and still true. Brady was heavily boo'ed at SB 50 NVP reunion. I'm afraid Brady will forever be like Pete Rose, just a cheat... HS

And then there was "Thunder Thighs". Kept my attention for a few...

I agree. When I saw it was going to be her doing the song....I sort of winced. But, she was dressed well and performed very well. I was actually impressed.

Well, we have it from the horse's mouth, now.

Cam Newton on why he didn't jump on the fumble in Super Bowl 50 - Business Insider

On Tuesday, Newton addressed the media and discussed his reasoning on the play more thoroughly. He revealed that his quarterback instincts took over, and he decided to hold off in order to avoid injury.

Newton told the media:

I don't dive for one fumble, because the way my leg was, it could have been contorted in a way. You say my effort. I didn't dive down. I fumbled, that's fine. But at the end of the day, that game wasn't built off of, we didn't lose the game because of that fumble, I can tell you that.

Newton also brought up the efforts of other quarterbacks, seemingly as if asking why he is being singled out.

"I didn't get the fumble, but we can play tit-for-tat," Newton said. "I see numerous quarterbacks throw interceptions and their effort afterwards, they don't go."

He exposed a weakness...it took him two days to come up with an excuse (he was skeert) if it had been a circumstantial issue with his stance (i.e., possibly tripping on his own crossed leg etc.) and more likely falling flat short of the ball...he would have been conscious of it would have been able to nip the question in the bud...but the evidence is clear...he just made up the best possible excuse he could muster after watching the films...

We can be sure it will be a while before he can get past this (if even possible)...opposing defensive linemen are going to hammer him verbally when he's under center...

"skeert".......;)Haven't heard that word in awhile, but seems most appropriate.

The sad part is that it was such a sloppy, uneventful, unprofessional game that this is all we have to talk about. :(
