I'm considering the Ram as well, but the V6 4x4 gets 23 on the highway, the diesel gets 27 I think, and I know its 4k more. Compare that to the colorado, hoping a V6 4x4 will get at least 27, then the smaller(easier parking, more garage space) Gm looks appealing. My 2010 4x4 silverado LTZ has been flawless, tires, oil, brakes for 88k miles, but if staying full size, I have to drive the Ram to decide. i haven't yet driven a new 2014 Silverado, not liking the front end or column shifter.

Wow. 87 octane is $3.25 here today and diesel is $3.99 and $3.89 if you hunt long and hard. That's 20% more fore diesel at the cheapest price. Chris

Diesel here in Wentzville is $3.48 to $3.55 a gallon... Never understood why gas and diesel was so high in NE Indiana compared to everywhere else I've lived. All I can figure is they are raping all the local farmers. Out of all the different states I've lived in working for GM, Indiana takes 1st prize for the highest state taxes and highest fuel prices.
