I think tractor makers are missing an opportunity to differentiate their tractor with a nice size tool box standard.

The metal box is similar to what I have mounted on my tractor and it works well. Unless you’re going to leave the machine parked outside, I don’t know why being 100% waterproof is an issue. I also mounted a small ammo box next to the toolbox to function as a glovebox for small items that I don’t want to lose.

Not saying to abort your plans for a bigger toolbox. But I find I use my hammer and spud wrench all the time when swapping out 3 point implements.

I mounted them on the ROPS for quick access. Works well for me!

That's a really neat idea; what are you using to strap them down?

Metal ammo box might fit your needs.
That's what I mounted30 cal) on my MF135 port side running board, did that perhaps 45 years ago and it's still as good and the day I mounted it on the tractor.
It's water and dust-tight, The downside, I had to saw 3" off the hammer handle for it to lay flat.
I got a wild hair and made my own 12"x14"x6", it too is water N dust tight; can't find a place to mount that big a toolbox. It's still collecting dust in a corner of my shop.

I have a very similar tractor, CK35, and that toolbox they give is too small to carry much. I'm looking at plastic, but like the ones with a tray in the lid. That lessens the choices...

I actually ended up buying the metal box, and didn't quite put together just how large it was in my mind.

Much too big for the tractor, but a nice box none the less- it carries some sockets and ratchets now.
