Ohio, February 60 Degrees

Great weather here in Erie County, have bush hogged for 2 days with the Grillo.

Also burned some brush, fire got away from me into a grass field. Chased it with a rake for over an hour but finally got it out. Too old for that kind of exercise.

Winter is back, but I don't mind, 70+ degrees in February is unsettling to me.
Of course the warm weather has me wanting to till the garden. I have a huge amount of newspapers, thinking of tilling it and then lay newspaper down and straw on top to keep them from blowing away. Hope to keep the weeds down before it is time to plant....but the garden is 200'x50' seems like a lot of newspaper and straw...and work!

Yesterday Cincinnati hit 78. It was the highest temperature ever recorded in "meteorological winter" (Dec. Jan. Feb.) since they started keeping records back in the 1880's! BTW today it is in the 30's and snowing!

Yesterday it hit 77 degrees in Medina. Beat the high by 3. Today its 32 with snow!!!

Especially scary after dark. Could feel the house moving from wind gusts. Upon inspection this morning no damage except downed limbs.
