I have purchased NAPA/Wix filters for my Kubota and have them in stock as spares. I have also used a car filter, don't remember the part number when I needed a filter in a hurry. All filters are good when new, it is when they get old, that the difference is. I changed the oil filter only at 10 hours and the oil and filter at 50 & 100. I have also done the same with the hydro filter. It also got changed at less than 2 hours, because of a damaged filter. I on the other hand, have been a Valvoline fan for years. I used to use there oil in all my cars. Oils and filters are like food.... everyone has their favorite and everyone has a few that they don't care for. There is no right or wrong, just difference of opinions. Opinions are like noses...... everyone has one, but some are higher than others.... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif If you have the NAPA numbers, why not post them for others information. Never can tell when you will need one and the dealer is closed. When I last checked, they didn't have a listing, but could cross reference the Kubota part number. Junk.
