oil and filters?

   / oil and filters? #21
I have purchased NAPA/Wix filters for my Kubota and have them in stock as spares. I have also used a car filter, don't remember the part number when I needed a filter in a hurry. All filters are good when new, it is when they get old, that the difference is. I changed the oil filter only at 10 hours and the oil and filter at 50 & 100. I have also done the same with the hydro filter. It also got changed at less than 2 hours, because of a damaged filter. I on the other hand, have been a Valvoline fan for years. I used to use there oil in all my cars. Oils and filters are like food.... everyone has their favorite and everyone has a few that they don't care for. There is no right or wrong, just difference of opinions. Opinions are like noses...... everyone has one, but some are higher than others.... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif If you have the NAPA numbers, why not post them for others information. Never can tell when you will need one and the dealer is closed. When I last checked, they didn't have a listing, but could cross reference the Kubota part number. Junk.

That is one of the reasons that I asked. Mine are lost somewhere in the garage. If you have ever seen the garage picture that I posted, you will know why. I have been cleaning it for hopefully getting a car in there this winter, so everything has been disturbed. If I hadn't moved so much, I probably could put my hands on them. If I remember correctly, I have only the engine oil filter. Will put a APB out on them this morning and see if anything comes of it by this evening. Many times things appear within a day or two using this method. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Junkman, what are you doing?!?! Do you realize what you've done? You've just made it impossible for the rest of us to have garages so cluttered you can't get a vehicle in there. If our wives see this, were DOOMED!! You've raised the bar of acceptability of garage cleanliness! Gads!!

My wife walked into or should I say climbed into the garage last week and asked me what was going to go outside for the winter so she can park her car in there.

I guess my truck is going to have to go in my friends new 120x40 garage. Now my motorcycle won't be lonely any more.

My wife knows enough to stay out of my garage! The last time she went in there, it took a rescue dog to find her and it was past noon. The Red Cross came by and declared her stomach a disaster area and fed her. Women should know their place in the home, and it isn't in the garage. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
